We want every customer to be satisfied with mantracv. This policy explains when refunds are available, how to request one, and how long the process takes. It is published in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and Razorpay's merchant guidelines.
1. The 7-day no-questions-asked window
If you purchase a paid plan and change your mind within 7 calendar days of payment, you may request a full refund — no explanation required — provided that you have downloaded 3 or fewer PDFs in that period.
- Free plans cannot be refunded (no charge was made).
- Once you exceed 3 downloads in the 7-day window, you've consumed the core deliverable and the refund window closes.
2. After 7 days
After the 7-day window, plans are generally non-refundable. We will, however, consider partial or full refunds in these specific cases:
- Service outage: prolonged downtime (24+ continuous hours) attributable to our service. Pro-rata refund of the days lost.
- Unauthorised charge: payment was made without your consent (e.g., compromised card). Submit a copy of your dispute with your bank and we will refund in full and terminate the session.
- Duplicate payment: same plan billed twice within 24 hours due to a checkout error. Automatic refund of the duplicate within 5 business days.
- Major feature regression: a paid feature you purchased is removed without notice. Pro-rata refund for the unused portion.
3. Lifetime plans
Lifetime plans are eligible for the 7-day window in section 1. After that, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If the Service is permanently shut down within 24 months of your lifetime purchase, you are entitled to a pro-rata refund based on a 24-month amortisation.
4. How to request a refund
- Email info@mantracv.com from the address on your account.
- Include your Razorpay payment ID (visible at
/profile/billing). - State the reason for the refund (optional inside the 7-day window; required after).
5. Processing time
- We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are initiated within 5 business days and credited to the original payment method.
- Bank/card networks typically take 5–10 business days after that to reflect the credit on your statement.
6. What happens to your account after a refund
- The paid plan is downgraded to Free.
- Your resume content is preserved — only the plan benefits stop.
- You may continue to use the Free plan or upgrade again at any time.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank/card issuer instead of contacting us first, your account will be suspended pending the chargeback outcome. We strongly prefer the email route — it's faster for both sides.
